 No — all sessions are conducted via secure telehealth, so you can meet with me from anywhere in Ohio

Yes, Dorothy Costakis is currently licensed to provide therapy for clients that are currently located in Ohio. Until the Interstate Social Work Compact is implemented, if you are outside of Ohio, she is not able to provide those services and will offer referrals in your state.

If you are using insurance, your copay or fee will be determined by your insurer. Their website can be found on the back of your insurance card to look up an estimate of fees, or you can check your benefits. For private pay, Dorothy's fee is $100 per session, but can utilize a sliding scale if needed. Contact Dorothy for a consultation if your would like to inquire about a sliding fee.

The first session is mostly about getting to know each other — what's brought you to therapy, what you're hoping for, and whether we feel like a good fit. There's no pressure to have it all figured out before we start. 

Yes. What you share in session is protected by confidentiality laws, with a few narrow legal exceptions (such as risk of harm to yourself or others), which I'll walk you through before we begin.
